  • Hello! I’m Melissa, owner and operator of phase hair + care. I have been working in the industry since 2007 and have always dreamt of owning my own salon space. This space marks the third salon I’ve created, each one a reflection of my growth, vision, and dedication to this craft.

    I am passionate about making my clients feel their absolute best, while customizing each appointment with love and undivided attention. This career has led me to international education, detailed product knowledge, creative projects, and collaborations. My community and the world around me are where I find my inspiration.

Assistant & Resident Good Boy

Meet Bodhi, A gentle 12-year-old rescue from sunny Southern California. He may give a little bark when you arrive, but don’t worry. He’s just announcing your grand entrance.

Bodhi spends most of his day lounging in his cozy bed, quietly supervising the salon and keeping things calm. He enjoys slow mornings, soft music, and one-handed pets from kind humans.

A retired beach boy turned full-time comfort ambassador, Bodhi reminds us to slow down, breathe deeply, and find joy in the simple things.
